Situated in one of England’s most historically rich medieval towns – the country’s Saxon capital and the former seat of King Alfred the Great – the Winchester Christmas Market is one of the most gorgeous seasonal markets in all of Europe. Join us on this extra special day trip for an enchanting escape from the city, and create a yuletide memory that will last a lifetime!

Winchester is full of medieval timber framed houses to create an olde world feeling. It also boasts to be the home of King Arthur’s famous Round Table. We will take the highspeed train to the centre f it all. As the former capital of England Winchester is full of history starting with King Alfred and his defense of the realm against the Vikings! We also hear stories of Henry VIII, Oliver Cromwell and William the Conqueror. For those who love a bit of literature, you’ll also hear about Thomas Hardy and Jane Austen who is buried at Winchester Cathedral. We even have a couple ghost stories to warm you up. After your walking tour, the rest of the day is your own to enjoy the Christmas market and get in the Christmas spirit.
