Wales Weekend

Next tour date:

16th - 17th March 2024

The land of the Red Dragon – full of green hills, countryside and sheep!

Start your tour at the breathtaking Caerleon Roman Amphitheatre, a 2000 year old ruin that was also King Arthur’s round table. From there we go to Cardiff, the Welsh capital for lunch before a visit St Fagan’s Museum of Welsh Life. We then find out what it means to be the Prince of Wales with a visit to Caerphilly Castle before spending the night in super Swansea! On your second day you will drive through the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park on the way to the Rhondda Valleys and Big Pit Mining Museum. Don your helmet and flashlight and descend into the darkness and see for yourself what it was like to work underground, sometimes from as young as 6!
